Jeb Dunnuck (94-97)The 2018 Hermitage Domaine Des Tourettes is cut from the same cloth as its big brother, the Les Bessards, yet is slightly more fleshy, rounded, and sexy. Black cherries, blackcurrants, ground herbs, crushed rocks, and ample meatiness all flow to a rich, full-bodied, powerful barrel sample that has enough tannin to warrant a solid 4-5 years of bottle age. This is brilliant all the way and well worth seeking out. |
