Good medium red. Dark cherry, raspberry, wild herbs and a hint of caraway seed on the enticing nose. Dense and juicy; less plump than the Haut-Droix but has plenty of stuffing. Rather massive, creamy wine but imploded today, even clenched. This, too, shows an element of edgy citrussy acidity on the back end, which gives lift and a light touch to the finish.Inc. TAX€291.55 -

(50% vendange entier): Good deep red. Ripe aromas of small wild red fruits, mocha and brown spices, plus a note of menthol; deeper-pitched than the Haut-Doix. Then big, ripe and rich but fine-grained, with savory red fruit flavors complicated by spices and torrefaction. Finishes youthful, broad and long. Nicolas Groffier noted that his family used to vinify Sentiers for power, like our Amoureuses, but that he has cut back on extraction. Still, this is a strong wine in 2012.Inc. TAX€2,877.14

The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Hauts Doix is pretty, offering up an ethereal bouquet of red berries, orange zest, rose petals and spices. Medium to full-bodied, pure and fleshy, it's suave and refined, with melting tannins and a saline, mineral finish. In Bond€1,010.00 -

Deep red-ruby. Explosive, rather wild aromas of raspberry, smoke and earth. Lush, sweet and thick; voluptuous for this cuvee but with terrific sap. Really resounds on the back end, which features broad tannins and an impressively rich flavor of crushed raspberry. A superb showing. In Bond€3,480.00 -

Amazingly fragrant, silky and refined, this exudes rose, herbs, wild strawberry, cherry and spice aromas and flavors. This is very harmonious now, and caresses the palate, ending in a wonderful aftertaste of sweet fruit, spice and mineral. Best from 2013 through 2023. 315 cases made. -BSIn Bond€306.00 -

Good medium red. Dark cherry, raspberry, wild herbs and a hint of caraway seed on the enticing nose. Dense and juicy; less plump than the Haut-Droix but has plenty of stuffing. Rather massive, creamy wine but imploded today, even clenched. This, too, shows an element of edgy citrussy acidity on the back end, which gives lift and a light touch to the finish. In Bond€239.00 -
Vinous (91+)
(50% vendange entier): Good deep red. Ripe aromas of small wild red fruits, mocha and brown spices, plus a note of menthol; deeper-pitched than the Haut-Doix. Then big, ripe and rich but fine-grained, with savory red fruit flavors complicated by spices and torrefaction. Finishes youthful, broad and long. Nicolas Groffier noted that his family used to vinify Sentiers for power, like our Amoureuses, but that he has cut back on extraction. Still, this is a strong wine in 2012.In Bond€2,360.00
