Complex and interesting aroma, very firm, crisp, almost austere in flavor, but showing a restrained fruitiness that's attractive. Toasty, smoky, spicy aromas and lemon and grapefruit flavors are its hallmarks.Inc. TAX€512.81 -

(6x75cl) 2002Wine Enthusiast (94)
In acknowledgement of the superior quality of 2002, Moët has released this wine well after the 2003. The decision is fully justified, for this is still young. It is impressive, intensely concentrated, mineral, showing tight grapefruit and apple flavors. Excellent aging potential.Inc. TAX€755.77 -
(1x300cl) 2003Vinous (93)
Pale yellow-gold. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes lemon pith, pear, iodine and chalky minerals. Ripe and densely packed but lively, offering candied citrus fruit flavors and deeper notes of anise and fig. Becomes spicier and stonier with air, finishing with strong punch and lingering smokiness and minerality. More open-knit and overtly ripe that most of the 2002 version, with plenty of depth and the richness and weight that distinguish this hot vintage.Inc. TAX€641.82 -
(6x75cl) 2008Wine Enthusiast (95)
Just beginning to mature, this balanced, ripe wine is complex, with bright acidity, toast and pear and green-plum fruits. It is rich, with a tight mouse that shows intensity as well as a stylish character. This is a fine wine just coming into its own but well worth aging further until 2020.Inc. TAX€552.97 -

(12x75cl) 2008Wine Advocate (92)
Moët & Chandon's intensely colored 2008 Grand Vintage Rosé is dominated by Pinot Noir (50% or more along with roughly 30% Chardonnay and 20% Meunier) and contains 20% of red wine. It is released earlier than the white counterpart, which is scheduled for the second half of 2016 due to its strong acidity, which chef de cave Benoît Gouez finds "a bit too prominent," though "not as crazy as the 1996 acidity." The color of the 2008 GV Rosé is that of a candied cherry and indicates a nice maturity. Fresh, red fruit aromas on the nose lead to a dry and complex palate cleanser with discreet vegetal aromas. This is a pure, yet still young cuvée that finishes with a stimulating grip.Inc. TAX€996.67 -
