Burghound (87-89)
Outstanding Top Value. Firm reduction overshadows everything but a suggestion of petrol. Otherwise, there is excellent concentration to the relatively powerful medium weight flavors that possess unusually good size, weight and depth on the lingering finish. This isn't refined but offers impressive overall quality for its level.Inc. TAX€649.22 -

Burghound (90-93)
(Outstanding) A cool, pure, airy and appealingly layered nose displays aromas of mostly acacia blossom and lemon-lime, along with a background hint of crushed fennel. There is excellent energy and a gorgeous texture to the medium weight flavors that flash plenty of minerality on the balanced, nicely dry and sneaky long finish that would also benefit from developing better depth.Inc. Burghound (89-92)
Outstanding Top Value. This is more aromatically elegant still with its nose of acacia blossom, just sliced apple, mandarin orange peel and a whiff of anise. There is superb density for a villages-level Puligny with a caressing if not necessarily sophisticated mouthfeel while delivering impressive depth and persistence. This is quite satisfying and offers excellent value.Inc. TAX€1,256.17 -
Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy (90-93)
The colour is a thrilling bright daffodil yellow. There is more weight to the nose but not necessarily more class. Taking into account the location with three metre high walls trapping the warm aur, François picked four days before the main harvest. The wine is juicy with a little oak showing, less racy than the regular Puligny, and the fruit sits a little further back on the palate. Less classic but broadly in the same class!
