Vinous - Ian D'Agata (86-88)Opaque ruby-red. Spicy aromas of cassis, cocoa and tobacco. A bit chunky on the palate, with simple spicecake and dark plum flavors. Finishes smooth and long, and not at all hard--an accomplishment in 2009 consider the gravelly soil here. |
