Made with 100% Grenache, the Barbe Rac is produced from fruit from a single vineyard where vines were planted in 1901 to a staggering vine density of 11,000 vines per hectare! The 1989 vintage, the first-ever vintage to be reviewed by Wine Advocate, earned a stunning 94 points from Robert Parker, who called it “a sensational expression of Châteauneufdu Pape”.
