Nestled in the picturesque Loire Valley of France, Clau de Nell winery has a rich history dating back to the 16th century. This winery is dedicated to organicand biodynamic viticulture, thanks to the passionate advocacy of Anne-Claude Leflaive, winemaker and owner of the renowned Domaine Leflaive in Burgundy.

Under the watchful eye of Christian Jacques and Claire Leflaive, the estate spans 12 hectares of vineyards, exclusively growing Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc grapes with meticulous attention to detail and sustainable practices.

A prestigious winery, whose products are scarcely available in Asia, today we are pleased to offer their estate red and white wines.

Made from the emblematic red grape of Loire Valley, the Cabernet Franc is a delicate and elegant Anjou red. Made from hand-picked and carefully sorted grapes, this wine is aged for 12 months in Burgundy casks and 6 months in vats. The result is a red wine with notes of "lifted green peppercorn, grilled paprika, damp earth funk, and a hint of charcoal and cherries" (JS), showcasing the delicacy of this noble grape.

Meanwhile, Clau de Nell's Chenin Blanc is a true reflection of Anne Claude Leflaive's passion for white wine. Combining her Burgundy expertise with the exceptional terroir and varietal potential, the 2021 vintage is described as "vertical and succulent" with a "well-rounded texture" and a perfumed nose of "spiced apples, lemon rind, sesame, fresh leaves, and mild spices" (JS).
