Potent, searing tannins paint the picture of a youthful, classically austere Barolo that is heading into its second decade in style. Graphite, grilled herbs, tar, sage, tobacco, incense and lavender race across the palate. The 2013 can be enjoyed now with aeration, but ideally it needs more time in bottle. |
