The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh, precise and mineral-driven. The Montrachet shows massive opulence up front with golden fruit and peaches, then a wall of tension, then suddenly it seems to stop, only to start again and continue on the second half of its journey. A little hard to read in its extreme youth, but I suspect that this will make a very fine Montrachet. Amazing length, all registers of fruit. Drink from 2033-2045. Tasted Oct 2024. |
