Wine Advocate (90-92)A cuvée that's often the insiders' choice chez Dujac, the 2021 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru has turned out well, mingling aromas of plums and berries with hints of baking spice and orange rind. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it's layered and textural, with sweet tannins, lively acids and a perfumed finish. |

Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy (92-95)From the usual four vineyards. Deep crimson. The bouquet has quite an elegant style even if the individual fruits are not yet quite with us. Quite a firm structure behind but sitting well with the deep red fruit. Balanced and stylish, with good ageing potential. Drink from 2031-2038. Tasted: November 2023. |

Vinous (91-93)The 2020 Morey-Saint-Denis Monts Luisants Blanc 1er Cru was picked around midway through the harvest. It has a tightly-coiled bouquet that takes time to open, touches dew-speckled Granny Smiths and pressed white flowers. The palate is fresh and vibrant with fine acidity, very impressive weight with a tangy, tangerine-tinged finish. This might well be my pick from Dujac’s whites this year. Excellent. |

Wine Advocate (88-91)Wafting from the glass with an inviting bouquet of sweet red cherries, berries, orange rind and spices, the 2018 Morey-Saint-Denis Village is medium to full-bodied, supple and elegant, with powdery structuring tannins, fine concentration and a nicely defined finish. |

Wine Advocate (89-91+)The 2019 Morey-Saint-Denis Village is showing nicely, wafting from the glass with aromas of plums, orange rind, warm spices, peonies and sweet soil tones. Medium to full-bodied, deep and elegantly muscular, with powdery tannins and a vibrant core of fruit, this is very promising. |

Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy (92-94)Glowing purple. There is a fine weight of fruit, building steadily, lifting deep cherry notes, with an excellent texture, serge not silk, but it provides a fine backbone. I can see this ageing into a classic Dujac village Morey, always one of Burgundy’s great village wines. Drink from 2030-2037. Tasted: November 2023. |

Wine Advocate (89-91)The 2010 Morey St. Denis is a touch firmer than the Gevrey, and also shows darker tonality in its red fruit. Dried flowers, mint and licorice are layered into the energetic finish. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2020. |

Vinous (89)Medium red. Aromas of raspberry and underbrush are complicated by a musky carnal quality and a note of mocha. Offers lovely sweetness and breadth for a 2014 village wine, with brown spices dominating the middle palate. Has the stuffing to buffer its tannins, finishing with very good spicy length. |

Vinous (86-88)The 2019 Morey-Saint-Denis Village was very tight on the nose with brambly black fruit and loamy aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with a fresher feel than the Gevrey, slightly better acidity and though not overly complex, it conveys a sense of joie-de-vivre on the finish. |

Vinous (87-89)The 2020 Morey-Saint-Denis Village comes from several parcels. For me, this works better on the nos than the Gevrey-Chambertin, more fruité and cohesion, a little more vigour. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, quite saline with a gentle grip on the finish. Recommended. |
