The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Village has a fragrant floral nose with dark cherries, black plum and rose petal aromas. Fine purity here and the 26% new oak is nicely integrated. Mid smudgy crimson. Stunningly vibrant aroma of red cherry and peony (winemaker Grégory Patriat suggests violets). I'd be happy to wear this as perfume. Smells intensely sweet but also tart and tangy. All that on the palate, too. Firm, dry texture, layered super-fine tannins are almost chalky. Fabulous wine. If only I could afford to drink it! I am suggesting an early start date for the drinking window because I could actually drink this now though it is sure to have a very long life.In Bond€1,665.00 -

Mid cherry red. Less open than the Vosne-Romanée just tasted. Peppery and definitely spiced with a touch of oak and stems all tangled up in the aroma. A dark beauty as it opens in the glass.
