Wine Advocate (86-88)The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Village bursts with aromas of rich cassis, plums and spices, framed by toasty new oak. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with melting tannins and a supple, easygoing profile. This will drink well young. |

Introducing the exceptional Fabien Coche Auxey-Duresses Rouge 2022, a sublime French red wine of impeccable pedigree. Crafted in Burgundy, this luxurious wine is produced by renowned vintner Fabien Coche, whose family has been making world-class wines since 1973. The Auxey-Duresses Rouge 2022 is expertly created using traditional viticulture methods, with hand-selected Pinot Noir grapes grown on limestone and clay soils. This labour-intensive process ensures each grape imparts maximum flavour and complexity. The wine's character is profoundly Burgundian, exhibiting rich notes of red fruits, a delightful acidity for balance, and a refined, lasting finish. The Fabien Coche Auxey-Duresses Rouge 2022 is meticulously aged in oak, which imbues it with hints of spice and vanilla, adding multi-layered sophistication to every sip. Epitomising the art of Burgundian winemaking, this exquisitely refined vintage is the perfect addition to any discerning wine lover's collection. |

Vinous (92-94)The 2017 Echézeaux En Orveau comes from a cool microclimate, the last before you reach Musigny, though here the vines face south rather than east on shallow soils. This has a pleasant bouquet, initially quite bashful but gaining intensity in the glass, with crushed stone infusing the dark berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied, offering sappy red berry fruit, orange peel and a touch of marmalade, and quite grippy toward the back palate. A touch of allspice features on the aftertaste. This should drink nicely over the next two decades. A well-crafted, burly Echézeaux. |

Vinous - Stephen Tanzer (93-95)Bright full ruby-red. Explosive nose combines cherry, raspberry, minerals, flowers and game; at once expressive and cool. Fat, thick and stuffed with fruit; offers an uncanny combination of sheer volume and texture and great elegance. Finishes with extremely suave tannins and great resounding length and sweetness. This may turn out to be as strong as the outstanding '98. |

Vinous (91+)Medium red. Sappy, youthfully medicinal flavors of raspberry and black cherry; slightly reduced. Concentrated and powerful but a bit musclebound today, finishing with a tannic toughness. But this has terrific energy and noteworthy length. I'd sock it away for a decade. |

Vinous - Stephen Tanzer (93-95)Saturated dark red. Knockout nose combines liqueur-like raspberry, coffee, smoke, licorice and brown spices. Tightly coiled and powerful, conveying an impression of energy but at the same time sweeter and more harmonious than the Mazis. Perhaps best today on the extremely long, palate-staining finish, which features an almost electric impression of precision and complex suggestions of minerals, coffee and spices. Hervet describes 2007 as a vintage that offers great transparency of terroir, and this wine could serve as Exhibit A. |

Vinous (93+)Medium red. Multidimensional nose offers red fruits, menthol, smoked ham and wild herbs. Silky and tactile but classically dry. This showy, glyceral wine comes across as almost weightless, thanks to a powerful impression of smoky minerality. With aeration this very long and savory wine showed a compelling deep sweetness. But I wouldn't go near a bottle for at least eight years. |

Vinous (94+)Medium red. Highly nuanced yet quite primary on the nose, offering scents of raspberry, underbrush, dried rose, ginger and smoky oak. Juicy, saline and quite dry, with dark berry and strawberry flavors complicated by an earthy perfume. Finishes with substantial dusty tannins and excellent length. With 24 hours in the recorked bottle, this beauty showed a silkier texture and chewy, deep flavors of raspberry and spices that saturate the palate without leaving any impression of weight. A great effort for the vintage. |

Vinous (94+)Bright medium red. Deep, musky nose combines cranberry, raspberry, cardamom, faded rose and crushed stone. Sweet, seamless and energetic, offering almost painful cut to the tart red berry, spice and musky underbrush flavors. Outstanding savory lift in the middle palate. Wonderfully lightness of touch here. Very backward wine with all the Cos de Bèze food groups: red fruits, minerals, spices, flowers, crushed stone. Stains the palate and leaves the taste buds quivering on the very long, firm finish. But still a baby today and in need of a decade of cellaring. |

Decanter (96)Perfumed plum and black cherry fruit with hints of violet, mineral and a savoury undercurrent. The texture is firm and immensely tannic but not unforgiving, and there is enough substance to age for decades to come. Produced from three of the four Faiveley parcels in the Clos de Bèze, this is fermented with a large proportion of whole clusters before ageing in casks (70% new) for 18 months. |

Vinous (95)Bright, full red. Ineffable aromas of raspberry, rose petal and minerals display wonderful perfumed lift for the year. Silky, concentrated and fine-grained on entry, then sharply delineated and perfumed in the middle palate, boasting superb floral lift and an impression of menthol reserve to its black raspberry, crushed stone and botanical herb flavors. A wonderfully savory, silky midweight with terrific energy and restrained sweetness for the year, not to mention noble, perfectly buffered tannins. The savory, slowly building finish is hard to scrape off your palate. This outstanding 2015 really stands out for its light touch. |
