Boasts a nobly fine-grained texture but it's hard to describe this wine as silky owing to its almost painful penetration on the palate. Great éclat and precision here. Finishes with incredible tactile breadth and cut, the wine's rising, palate-saturating flavors of red berries, spices, flowers and minerals blowing past its firm but utterly refined tannins.
