The palate is more measured: very well balanced and quite succulent in style, with wonderful definition and a fresh, slightly brine-tinged finish that has an unerring crystalline quality to it. This contains 80% whole bunches (less in 2023) with 20m/g of free SO2. The perfumed nose shows slightly darker fruit than other cuvées, with raspberry, blackberry leaf and a briar hint.
