Born from the prestigious vineyards of Pommard, the wine embodies the quintessential character of its terroir, exhibiting a robust yet balanced body.
A diligent production process accentuates the wine's pedigree. Grapes harvested at optimal ripeness are fermented meticulously, ensuring the authentic expression of this classic Pinot Noir. Maturation in French oak barrels imparts sophisticated notes of spice and toast, harmonising with the wine's rich dark fruit profile.
Fabien Coche, an accomplished descendant of the Coche family of Meursault, champions traditional Burgundian winemaking techniques in crafting this wine. His expertise yields a wine of profound depth and complex bouquet, enhancing its appeal among connoisseurs.
Each sip of Fabien Coche Pommard Vv 2022 is an ode to Burgundy's nuanced terroir, embodying the refinement expected of a timeless French classic.

Vinous (92-94)
The 2017 Echézeaux En Orveau comes from a cool microclimate, the last before you reach Musigny, though here the vines face south rather than east on shallow soils. This has a pleasant bouquet, initially quite bashful but gaining intensity in the glass, with crushed stone infusing the dark berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied, offering sappy red berry fruit, orange peel and a touch of marmalade, and quite grippy toward the back palate. A touch of allspice features on the aftertaste. This should drink nicely over the next two decades. A well-crafted, burly Echézeaux. In Bond€930.00 -
Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy (88-91)
Bright purple, lots of energy, blacker centre. Solid dense bouquet without much detail as yet. Very intense, extremely juicy but not too wild, certainly very ripe but has managed to maintain discipline. Tasted: November 2021In Bond€334.00 -
