These days it is Bourgogne from Côte de Beaune plus a touch of village Santenay, aged in one, two and three year old barrels. Very dense purple, almost black in the centre. The bouquet is very concentrated yet not over the top. There is a really fresh intensity through the middle which is quite important given the darkness of the raspberry and black cherry fruit, plus quite firm tannins. Not easily accessible but with a really impressive density. Tasted: 10/1/2021
